If a person is unable to manage their own personal affairs, a guardianship or conservatorship can be established. This type of legal relationship allows the fiduciary to act on their wards/client’s behalf in matters such as property and finances (conservatorship) and/or health care and basic needs (guardianship). We provide all aspects of guardianship and conservatorship for individuals who can no longer make decisions or manage their own care or assets.
We have been navigating the complicated probate process since 2001 and offer a complete range of probate and estate services, such as trust administration, asset protection, executor assistance, estate dissolution and transfer of family property. Let us ensure that your loved one’s wishes are carried out properly and relieve your stress so you can focus on your family.
Our health care management services offer individuals and families the peace of mind that their health and welfare is being looked after. Every decision made that affects the individual and/or family will be based, as much as possible, on the desires, concerns and preferences of the ward and/or family.
When an individual or a couple has no family available to help with care as they age or become disabled, Fiduciary Solutions, LLC can provide that care when the need arises. An agreement will be drawn up detailing the express wishes and desires for future care and management. Under a Power of Attorney agreement, one party (a principal) gives to another (the agent – Fiduciary Solutions, LLC) the authority to act in expressed capacities. Duties can include healthcare decisions, managing daily financial matters, investment selection, placement choices, or end of life decisions. The person granting the power of attorney must have full capacity when implementing the power of attorney. A “durable” power of attorney grants powers to the agent even after the principal is unable to handle his/her affairs.
